8 PARCC Results Release Following the same standards-setting process as the implementation of the End-of-Course exams in Louisiana, results for the PARCC assessment will be available the fall semester after the first spring administration. PARCC test results will be available Fall 2015. No retest for Summer 2015 LEAs shall continue to offer summer remediation according to local pupil progression plans Transition policies for student promotion, school performance, and value added Transition policies

12 Assessment Placement Materials Receipt Placement tests are administered for applicable transfer students seeking to enroll in grade 5 or 9 who have not participated in the LEAP test in Louisiana. Placement tests are shipped to district test coordinators in late July and are to be returned to the testing contractor mid-February. Students who participate in the spring and/or summer administration of LEAP test and fail to score at the required achievement level(s) are not eligible to take the Iowa Tests for placement purposes. 17 Accountability: Data Certification Data Certification As in past years, the data certification process will occur in early fall, to allow districts time to certify, update, and review data used for calculating school performance scores. Districts will review and correct assessment (LEAP/iLEAP/LAA1/LAA2/EOC/ACT), credit accumulation (DCAI), and progress point data during data certification. Additional Information This month, the accountability team will be holding a webinar to assist with data certification. Dates, timelines, and processes will be communicated during this webinar. A user guide with steps for data certification will also be provided. Please check the newsletter for dates and times of this webinar.

21 Technology Technology Readiness Data Submission The Technology Readiness Tool (TRT) and Network Broadband Survey reopened May 21 for schools to submit and update their device and network data. Submission deadline is July 23. Districts and schools should update both their device and network data.
