8 Faculty StARs Roles and responsibilities: Students interested in being a Faculty StAR (formerly known as Faculty Reps) can put themselves forward for election following the StARs Conference. Faculty StARs have the same responsibility as StARs, as well as some additional responsibilities:  Collecting feedback and information from department StARs,  Mapping shared issues across the Faculty – collating Faculty SSLM minutes and drawing out key themes,  Position on Students’ Union Council to feedback issues directly to Students’ Union,  For Life Sciences and SPS we have slightly bigger plans… Roles and responsibilities: Students interested in being a Faculty StAR (formerly known as Faculty Reps) can put themselves forward for election following the StARs Conference. 11 Faculty StARs Nominations open tomorrow (Tuesday 4 th ) and close Friday 7 th November. Online elections will be held 11 th – 13 th November with results announced Friday 14 th. Training will be provided for Faculty StARs and additional training will be given to those on the pilot scheme.
