12 ARTSTOR Introduction: In its first year, ARTstor is a new and growing database. It was released this year with 300,000 images, associated descriptions and software to view and store images. ARTstor was launched by The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation to provide helpful and coherent collections of images and data to educational and scholarly users. Click: Subscription databases and other catalog resources Click: Browse the A to Z list Scroll down to: ARTSTOR Point out:Setup and Navigation requirements. Setup and Navigation requirements are listed here. These have been enabled on the OPACs. If you are using ARTstor at your Getty computer and needed assistance, contact the Reference Desk. Click:Direct link to ARTstor Check:Turn off Pop Up Blocker Click:Search and Browse for Images Registration: You may wish to register with ARTstor to take full advantage of the functionality of ARTstor including saving and printing images for permitted uses, and adding personal notes. But your access will be limited to institutional workstations here on site. The default is to search all collections, but you can limit to a specific collection.
