4 What is NC Quilt Symposium?
A three day annual quilting event Co-sponsored by the NC Quilt Symposium Inc. (NCQSI) Board and a NC quilters guild Held at a conference center or college campus

5 Symposium includes… Stay at the conference center with fellow quilters
3 days of quilting classes and lectures Enjoy a fabulous quilt show Shop at a great selection of vendors Participate in other events

6 Symposium is every year…
First Symposium was in Raleigh in 1979 with a grant from the Raleigh Arts Council Since then, guilds from around the state have hosted the event at various college campuses and conference centers

To be held at Bonclarken Conference Center in Flat Rock, NC There will be various attendance packages offered.

Friday May 29 7 PM – 9 PM Saturday May 30 NO QUILT SHOW SUNDAY

18 Quilt Show Participants may enter quilts in the judged Quilt Show
Rules and categories are posted on Participants may enter a 14” – 18” doll cradle quilt in the quilt challenge for a Viewer’s Choice award. (Quilts and cradles will be donated to a Hendersonville county children’s charity.)

32 How to register Registration forms will be posted on the web beginning January 5, Go to or click on the link from the NCQSI site The catalog will be on the web site or we will mail one to you for $10.

33 When to register The sooner you register the more likely you are to get the classes you want But not before January 20, 2015

Sewing machine in good working order (if needed) Basic sewing supplies Check supply list for each class
