4. Our Inspectors Our inspectors are: –Licensed in Illinois and Indiana –Members are ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors) and/or NAHI (National Society of Home Inspectors) Our inspectors must complete: –6 continuing education hours per calendar year as required by the State of Illinois –16-20 hours of continuing education hours per calendar year as required by NAHI and ASHI –32 continuing education hours per licensing period as required by the State of Indiana HomePro-IL Home

5. Our Inspections We do home inspections on weekends and some minor holidays We can do inspections at any time of day, but prefer to start them when it is light for visibility reasons Our inspections take a minimum of 2-2½ hours for condos and townhomes and 3-3½ for single family homes We complete your report on site at the conclusion of the inspection and you walk away knowing our findings. We can also provide additional copies for your agent or attorney and they can be faxed or e-mailed. Our reports are computer generated making them easier to read We can schedule other miscellaneous inspections at the same time as our inspection for an additional cost; however, you pay only us and we make sure you get the additional reports in a timely manner HomePro-IL Home

6. The Home Inspection Process 1.Your contract is accepted! 2.Call us. (Please have a copy of the property listing near you when you call.) 3.We will ask you for all the information we need to complete the home inspection for you. 4.We will work out a day and time to complete the inspection. (Most contracts specify that the inspection be completed within 5 business days.) 5.We will then ask that you call you real estate agent or the seller (if it is For Sale By Owner) so that you may ask him or her to speak with the Listing Agent about the day and time we scheduled making sure it will be okay with the seller. 6.We will call you the day before the inspection to confirm. 7.Finally, we will meet you at the home on the day and time we scheduled.
