2 Eid Al Adha is celebrated by Muslims all around the world to honor the willingness of Abraham sacrificing his son Ismail.

3 This festival is also known as Id- ul-Zuha. Id means festival and Zuha means sacrifice. It is celebrated by Sunni and Shia Muslims.

5 The day’s of Eid al adha are from the 10 th of dhul hijjah up to 12 th of dhul hijjah (3 days and 2 nights). Eid al-Adha is celebrated every year on the 10th, 11th and 12th day of the twelfth and the last Islamic month of dhul hijjah (islamic lunar calendar)

6 Eid al adha occurs after hajj and begins with a sunnah prayer of two rakkahs
