4. Who is Cal State Fullerton (cont.)? U.S. News & World Report (September 2012) ranks CSUF among “Top Public Universities,” (No. 5 among Top Public Regional Universities” in the West. Hispanic Outlook in Higher Education (May 2012) ranks CSUF No. 1 in California and fourth in the nation among top colleges and universities awarding bachelor’s degrees to Hispanics. The nationally recognized Mihaylo College of Business and Economics is the largest accredited business school on the West Coast. CSUF is the only university teacher preparation institution in Orange County that is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).

Student Life Cal State Fullerton students have over 250 clubs and organizations to choose from as well as hands-on community service opportunities, and numerous student leadership development opportunities. Our Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) provides part- time employment for more than 300 students, advocates on the state and local level for CSUF students, and is funded entirely by student fees.
