2 United Nations Association-Brazil - ANUBRA The United Nations Association - Brazil (UNAB/ANUBRA) is a non-governmental organization established in 1998. The main objective is to narrow the bonds of collaboration between Brazilians and the United Nations (UN). Affiliated with the World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA) - United Nation's civil arm - and working together, ANUBRA strives for sustainability through projects and programs in national and international scope. To engage the Brazilian population into the work and principles of the United Nations as well as in recent international affairs is a challenge for our institution. I.R.E.O. is an initiative of the Brazilian Foundation of America (B.F.A.). Delivering as One, is the aim to overcome Environmental and Humanitarian challenges. I.R.E.O is focused on building the bridge between Governments, NGOs, social communities and Private Sectors to establish an global Alliance in Renewable Energy. To establish pilot projects for different working sectors in developing countries to be able to support their nation and region using new energy. as well asSubstantial efforts are needed to reach sustainable development, by sharing resources and best practices as well as working and delivering as one. 5 The Brazilian Foundation of America (BFA) is an American Not For Profit Organization under the Federal laws of 501(C) (3). Along with an office in Brazil,. BFA works in educational projects to empower the least developed communities to actively be involved in social activities. The BFA programs and projects follow the The Eight Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) of the UN. BFA is affiliated with the UN Economic and Social Council - ECOSOC. We are working in partnership with I.R.E.O and the ANUBRA to generate financial support to promote for more sustainable development projects. Our goal is to implement pilot projects within national and regional communities.
