2 Vocabulary 1.) took= the past tense of take. 2.) master= someone who is very skillful at doing a particular job. 3.) thought= something that you think of, think about, or remember. 4.) he’d= the short form of “he had”. 5.) near= only a short distance from someone or something. 6.) ran= the past tense of run. 7.) toward= in particular direction. 8.) shouted= to say very loudly. 9.) hadn't= the short form of “ had no”.

3 10.) field= an area of land in the country where crops are grown or where animals feed on grass. 11.) again= one more time. 12.) they’d= the short form of “ they would”. 13.) heard= to know that sound is being made using your ears. 14.)sheep= a farm animal that is kept for its wool and its meat. 15.) although= in spite of the fact that though.

4 This story is about a shepherd boy who was in charge of caring for the sheep of a wolf. The shepherd boy was bored a lot and one day he happens to play a joke on everyone in the village, he screams: "The wolf, the wolf !!!!"; all ran to where he was and found out loud laughing because they had played a joke. So the days passed and the shepherd boy keep doing the same, until one day the wolf is really appeared and how do the shepherd boy scream: "The wolf, wolf", but is a day nobody believed him.

5 The moral of this story is that one should never abuse the kindness of people telling lies and make jokes, because eventually they will stop believing in you.
