3 SET is one of the three programmatic “mission mandates” from National 4-H Headquarters. Mission mandates include: Science, Engineering and Technology Healthy Lifestyles Citizenship (Youth Community Action)

4 National 4-H SET Goal Nationally 4-H is aiming to prepare 1 million new youth in the next five years to excel in science and technology by exposing those youth to 6 or more hours each of 4-H science activities.

5 NYS 4-H SET Goal Reaching 100 new youth per county per year with 6 hours or more of inquiry based science activities.
