1-1 Order of Operations Objective (things to learn): In this section you will need to learn how to use the order of operations to evaluate algebraic expressions. Order of Operations 1. First do operations that happen within grouping symbols (Parenthesis). 2. Then evaluate exponents or powers. 3. Next, do multiplication and division from left to right. 4. Finally do addition and subtraction from left to right.
