What is a responding variable?
The responding variable depends on/responds to the manipulated variable.
Hypothesis: “If the temperature increases, crickets will chirp more frequently.”
What is the manipulated variable?
= increased temperature
What is the responding variable?
= chirping frequency

What is the effect of the height a ball is dropped on the height it bounces up?
