1 2 Corinthians 5:19... God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation. If the world has been recon- ciled to God and sins will not be held against anyone, why isn’t everyone saved?

2 Man is certainly better off because Jesus Christ took care of his sin problem on the cross, but there is still a problem. He still lacks something. Know what it is?

3 GOD’S PERFECT RIGHTEOUSNESS

4 GOD has Perfect Righteousness + R MAN sin has Relative Righteousness - R

5 Man w/ debt of sin GOD Man w/ debt canceled

6 Perfect GOD ( +R ) in Perfect Heaven Imperfect Man with -R +R cannot accept or have fellowship with -R PerfectRelative

7 So what do we learn from this?

8 You don’t have to be good to go to heaven, So what do we learn from this?

9 You have to be PERFECT!

10 So, h ow can –R be changed to +R?

11 BY FAITH IN CHRIST !

12 believed God believes in Him Romans 4:3-5... For what does the Scripture say? "And Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness." 4 Now to the one who works, his wage is not reckoned as a favor, but as what is due. 5 But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is reckoned as righteousness,

13 who believe Romans 3:21-22 …But now apart from the Law, the righteousness of God has been manifested, even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe [in Him];

14 +R believes in Jesus Christ God imputes His +R to anyone who believes in Jesus Christ, then He pronounces him PERMANENTLY JUSTIFIED because he now has +R

15 [ +R [ +R Romans 10:3... For they being ignorant of God's righteousness [ +R ], and going about to establish their own righteousness [ -R ], have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness [ +R ] of God.

16 How does one submit to the righteousness of God?
