5 Main advantages of the desalination system with blocks DB 8 SW 030 1.Reliability - no pipes and high pressure junctions - less failures - easy replacement of component parts reduces repair time 2. Safety - no pipe couplings and minimum number of junctions – the risk of leakages is minimized 3. Compactness - our desalination plant is 2-1.5 more compact than conventional plant of the same production capacity 4. Minimum energy consumption - costs for production of 1 m3 of desalinated water are 2.6 kW/1 cubic meter 5. Easy maintenance - ease of installation doesn’t require special skills of the staff 6. Adjustment to daily range of water consumption - it is possible to adjust the volume of product water - less volume of water tanks 7. Continuous operation for preventive maintenance or replacement of elements it is possible to switch off separate blocks but not the entire desalination plant (for plants with more than one desalination block) 8. Environmentally friendly operation - low powered desalination plant, minimum environmental harm from brine discharge.

6 Reliability of block 1. Guaranteed service life of the block DB8SW030 is 18 months 2. Service life of the block is not less than 10 years. 3. On expiry of guarantee period the customer usually concludes a service maintenance agreement. The cost of service maintenance of one block per year is 10% from the cost of the block (about 2000 US dollars) except for expenses for planned consumables and membrane chemical agents. Conclusions: All the risks associated with breakdown of the block shall be borne by the manufacturer and service company.

Accelerated life tests showed that the reliability of the surface coating is 15 years. 2.ELECTROMOTOR (Dominion CCD-10K4S-1-019) purchased item. According to the manufacturer service life is 10 years. Guarantee is 1 year. 3.HYDRAULIC DRIVE preventive maintenance should be made once per year. 4.ELECTRONICS (Dominion DM) purchased item. According to the manufacturer service life is 10 years. Guarantee is 1 year. 5.MEMBRANE (SWC4B-8040, SWC6 MAX-8040) purchased item. According to the manufacturer service life is 3-5 years.
