Kersten received this prize for the publication ‘The Researcher’s Guide to the Data Deluge: Querying a Scientific Database in just a Few Seconds’ Universidad Politecnica de Madrid (UPM) received the yearly organized Linked Data Triplification Challenge prize during the I-SEMANTICS 2011. The “open data track” challenge award went to Daniel Garijo, Boris Villazón and Oscar Corcho for their contribution A Provenance-Aware Linked Data Application for Trip Management and Organization.
