How do you read it?" And he answered, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.“ And he said to him, "You have answered correctly; do this, and you will live." (Luke 10:25-28)

Then he set him on his own animal and brought him to an inn and took care of him. For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted. (Heb. 2:16-18)

Then they also will answer, saying, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to you?' Then he will answer them, saying, 'Truly, I say to you, as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me.' And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life." (Matthew 25:41-46)

12. Jesus Was Moved With Compassion He had compassion on the multitude (Matt 14:14-21) He had compassion on the blind men (Matt 20:30-34) He had compassion on the lepers (Mark 1:40-44) He had compassion on us (John 3:16)

13. Not Showing Compassion Is Ungrateful And his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt. So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done. Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me: Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee? And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him. So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses. (Matthew 18:29-35).
