Mondi Zimele`s objectives are to:  Promote sustainable black economic empowerment and the availability of competitive contractors in Mondi’s forestry and mill value chains  Encourage economic development and job creation in our forestry communities  Facilitate the increased availability of sustainable, competitive timber by private growers for Mondi mills (including the development of new emerging community forestry businesses). Mondi Zimele is supported through a ‘revolving’ fund from Mondi (and more recently DBSA) which is deployed on commercial terms as equity and loans to qualifying Investee companies.
