Prepared by: ESL Process Engineering Team Highlights The BL Surrender Module provides the functionality to record the following events within the system thus eliminating the need of email exchanges between agencies. Events are: - Bills Surrendered. - Bills lost in transit. - Intimation for shipment to be put ON HOLD. Highlights: SSearch function based on Bill, Booking or FCN number. SSearch of multiple records can be done for a Service/Vessel/Voyage combination. FFor Bills surrendered, there is option to send email from LRP as intimation. OOnly Issued Bills will show in Surrender Module.

3. Prepared by: ESL Process Engineering Team Selection can be based on Bill/Booking or FCN number. Applicable status for data to be selected  Bill – In ISSUED status.  Booking – For which Bill is in ISSUED status.  FCN – In PRINTED Status.

4. Prepared by: ESL Process Engineering Team - Select the ‘Event Type’ and SAVE the record. - Reference Number will be generated once saved. - In case the bill surrendered is a cancelled bill, the reference number will be the ‘Cancelled Bill FCN’ number.

5. Prepared by: ESL Process Engineering Team For surrendered bill, Email can be sent subsequent to the event being saved. Right click to ‘Send Mail’. Fill address details to the mail option and SEND Once the record is saved, It can be amended only by the BL Issue ID or by the agency who had saved that Event.
