3 About Do-Ho Suh on Art21Art21 “Do-Ho Suh was born in S EOUL, K OREA, in 1962. After earning his BFA and MFA in Oriental Painting from Seoul National University, and FULFILLING HIS TERM OF MANDATORY SERVICE IN THE S OUTH K OREAN MILITARY, Suh relocated to the United States to continue his studies at the Rhode Island School of Design and Yale University. Best known for his intricate sculptures that defy conventional notions of scale and site-specificity, Suh draws attention to the ways VIEWERS OCCUPY AND INHABIT PUBLIC SPACE.” “Suh’s sculptures continually question the IDENTITY OF THE INDIVIDUAL IN TODAY ’ S INCREASINGLY TRANSNATIONAL, GLOBAL SOCIETY.” “Major exhibitions of Suh’s work have also been held at Whitney Museum of American Art at Philip Morris (2001); Serpentine Gallery, London (2002); and K EMPER M USEUM OF C ONTEMPORARY A RT, K ANSAS C ITY, M ISSOURI (2002–03).”

9 1.Take a square sheet of paper and fold it into a triangle. You'll want to make sure you crease all your folds well. 2.Fold one side corner in so that you get a fairly straight line across the top of the folded section. 3.Fold the other side corner in just like you did the first one. 4.Fold down one layer of the top point. 5.Punch a hole through every layer except the back. 6.Put a brad through the hole.
