1 SMART WEB USER GUIDE Log-in and Password Directory Search Sending Pages Changing Pager Status Assigning Pager Coverage, Referral, and Page Block Reviewing Archive Messages

2 Log-in and Password Select the green Pager icon to bring you to the Log-In screen

3 Log-in Cont'd Click Log-in in the far right top corner. Your user ID will be your four digit pager number. The default password will be your user ID with the last digit repeated. Click the green Log In button below.

4 Directory Search Click the Directory Search tab. You can search profile based on last name, first name, department, title and phone number.

5 Directory Search cont'd To search the Directory by first or last name (or both), type the name into the search box and click the Search button below. A listing of all profiles matching will display below.

6 Directory Search cont'd Directory search by Department will display a drop box on the left. You can expand this to refine your search.

7 Directory Search cont'd Search by Title will display all staff with the same title.

8 Directory Search cont'd To search by phone number, enter the 10-digit number with dashes, or the 4-digit number. Click the drop-down box to select the number type.

9 Sending Pages Input pager ID number or search by name Click search or enter from the keybaord. Select the pager icon.

10 Sending Pages, cont'd Type your message and select send

11 Assigning Pager Coverage To assign pager coverage select Personal Profile tab, under Profile tab select Coverage then New.

12 Changing Pager Status Begin at the Personal Profile tab, then select Profile. Under status instruction section select the status you want and then save.

13 Assigning Pager Coverage cont'd Input the covering pager ID into the Messaging ID field and input an end date and time.

14 Assigning Pager Referral To refer a pager to an extention or phone number select Referral from the Exception area, then New. Type the referral phone number or extension and end date and time, then save

15 Assigning A Page Block From the Exception area select Page Block, then select new, entering a Message is optional. Lastly enter an end date and time.

16 Removing Coverage, Referral and Page Blocks. To undo Coverage, Referral, or Page Block select the Delete option.

17 Reviewing Archive Msg. To review Archive Messages you must be signed in. Under the Personal Profile, select the Inbox tab, and click on Go to Archive Message

18 Reviewing Archive Msg. To review Archive Messages you must be signed in. Under the Personal Profile, select the Inbox tab, and click on Go to Archive Message

19 Reviewing Archive Msg. cont'd Here in this view you can the history of pages your pager received and also print them.
