Summary of Selection Process: 2011 Awards & Recognition Recipients Awards were announced at the R5 level Nominations were accepted until February 28 Committee members evaluated, scored and ranked each nomination package based on R5 Awards Manual Guidelines Committee chair combined each member’s scores, and sought committee’s confirmation of final list Final list of recipients were submitted to R5 Director for approval 42 outstanding nominations were received by the Committee 14 nominees were selected to receive awards in the 12 categories 7 IEEE Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet Tulsa, Oklahoma, 21 April 2012

The award is based on a selection that recognizes individuals involved with GOLD activities who are recognized for singular achievement in the development and completion of a project(s) or activity(ies) which are directed to the fulfillment of one or more of the Region’s goals and/or objectives.
