Although not as widely available as we would like, fair trade is available from many shops, the leading being The Co-operative and Oxfam. Others are Asda, Tesco, Waitrose, M and S, The Body S Shop, Boots and many more. Many different fair trade products are available and more each day. You can buy anything from socks to drums, from Mohican hats to dragon incense holders. Buying fair trade means you know that the workers are well treated (see ‘Home’ and ‘Benefits’ for more info) You will probably have to pay a little bit more than comparable non-fair trade items, but surely its worth it to give you piece of mind the producers were not ill treated.
