4. Tips on Embedding Gen Ed Competencies Look for what is already in the course- what competencies are students given the opportunity to learn and practice the competency. Don’t just list the competency- align the competency with the course content. Don’t try to fit in something that doesn’t really fit with the course- don’t make an artificial alignment.
