1 Using language well at Heathcote Literacy Focus:Whole School Marking Symbols Corrections, comments and marks should be clearly written An agreed code of correcting work should be employed right across the school, including:- SPFor spelling PFor punctuation NPFor new paragraph CapsFor capital letters NSFor new sentence, or not a sentence WWWrong word This code should be copied into each students exercise book.
