So what is an IEP? Individualized Education Plan
Why do you have an IEP? Some students have IEPs because they need them to help them be successful in school. Your IEP talks about your areas of strength and weakness, what skills you need to learn, what you'll do in school this year, what services your school will provide, and where your learning will take place.

What are Accommodations? Helpful tools, strategies, and resources provided to you to ensure your success in school
Where Do We Go From Here? Invite IEP members to the meeting by writing a formal business letter Write a “My Strengths” Essay 5 th Graders write a ‘Vision for Middle School’ Essay Complete an “Accommodations Think Sheet” Get Input from your parents and teachers Brainstorm potential goals Create name cards for IEP team members Create a PowerPoint presentation for the meeting Practice presenting to your classmates before your February 4 th Meeting If you don’t know where you are going, any old road will get you there….
