2 Qualifications University undergraduate degree
five years of teaching experience certification in three divisions: Primary (K-3) Junior (4-6) Intermediate (7-10) Senior (8-12) two Specialists/Honour Specialist AQ’s or a master's degree successful completion-Principal's Qualification Program (PQP)

3 Accreditation – PQP 1 and PQP 2
Part I – Introduction course work and the development of practicum proposal introduction to leading and managing a school Part II – Depth theoretical and operational aspects of the principalship i.e. leadership and program planning

4 Eligibility Peel District School Board ≥ 7 successful years teaching
≥ 2 divisions ≥ 2 schools current performance appraisal either demonstrated experience with Spec. Ed. Policies/ procedures or Spec. Ed. Part I experience in differentiating instruction demonstrated leadership ability in a variety of settings
