The question is not… Does it matter to me? Does it matter to me? What do others think? What do others think? Are these people sincere? Are these people sincere? Whats the general consensus? Whats the general consensus? What do the theologians believe? What do the theologians believe? A lot of questions arise… But… Does it matter to God?

Man cannot answer without Gods help!

13 These things we also speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 1 st Corinthians 2:13

3 how that by revelation He made known to me the mystery (as I have briefly written already, 4 by which, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ), Ephesians 3:3-4

12 There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death. Proverbs 14:12

23 O LORD, I know the way of man is not in himself; It is not in man who walks to direct his own steps. Jeremiah 10:23

They worshipped God. Cain and Abel

3 And in the process of time it came to pass that Cain brought an offering of the fruit of the ground to the LORD. 4 Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat. And the LORD respected Abel and his offering, 5 but He did not respect Cain and his offering. And Cain was very angry, and his countenance fell. 6 So the LORD said to Cain, "Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen? 7 "If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it." Genesis 4:3-7

They worshipped God. God accepted Abels sacrifice. God accepted Abels sacrifice. Cain and Abel

3 By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; and through it he being dead still speaks. Hebrews 11:4

17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17

They worshipped God. God accepted Abels sacrifice. God accepted Abels sacrifice. God rejected Cains offering. God rejected Cains offering. Cain and Abel

11 For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another, 12 not as Cain who was of the wicked one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his works were evil and his brother's righteous. 1 st John 3:12

God and Idolatry

2 "I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. 3 "You shall have no other gods before Me. 4 "You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; 5 you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, 6 but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments. Exodus 20:2-6

There was no right way one could worship an idol! God and Idolatry

(1 st Kings 18:1-40) Elijah versus prophets of Baal on Mount Carmel. (1 st Kings 18:1-40) (Leviticus 10:1-4) Nadab and Abihu (Leviticus 10:1-4) (2 nd Kings 5:1-14) Naaman the Leper (2 nd Kings 5:1-14) other examples…

1 Now Naaman, commander of the army of the king of Syria, was a great and honorable man in the eyes of his master, because by him the LORD had given victory to Syria. He was also a mighty man of valor, but a leper. 2 And the Syrians had gone out on raids, and had brought back captive a young girl from the land of Israel. She waited on Naaman's wife. 3 Then she said to her mistress, "If only my master were with the prophet who is in Samaria! For he would heal him of his leprosy." 4 And Naaman went in and told his master, saying, "Thus and thus said the girl who is from the land of Israel." 5 Then the king of Syria said, "Go now, and I will send a letter to the king of Israel." So he departed and took with him ten talents of silver, six thousand shekels of gold, and ten changes of clothing. 2 nd Kings 5:1-14 6 Then he brought the letter to the king of Israel, which said, Now be advised, when this letter comes to you, that I have sent Naaman my servant to you, that you may heal him of his leprosy. 7 And it happened, when the king of Israel read the letter, that he tore his clothes and said, "Am I God, to kill and make alive, that this man sends a man to me to heal him of his leprosy? Therefore please consider, and see how he seeks a quarrel with me." 8 So it was, when Elisha the man of God heard that the king of Israel had torn his clothes, that he sent to the king, saying, "Why have you torn your clothes? Please let him come to me, and he shall know that there is a prophet in Israel." 9 Then Naaman went with his horses and chariot, and he stood at the door of Elisha's house. 10 And Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, "Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and your flesh shall be restored to you, and you shall be clean." 11 But Naaman became furious, and went away and said, "Indeed, I said to myself, 'He will surely come out to me, and stand and call on the name of the LORD his God, and wave his hand over the place, and heal the leprosy.' 12 "Are not the Abanah and the Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Could I not wash in them and be clean?" So he turned and went away in a rage. 13 And his servants came near and spoke to him, and said, "My father, if the prophet had told you to do something great, would you not have done it? How much more then, when he says to you, 'Wash, and be clean'?" 14 So he went down and dipped seven times in the Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God; and his flesh was restored like the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.

(1 st Kings 18:1-40) Elijah versus prophets of Ball on Mount Carmel. (1 st Kings 18:1-40) (Leviticus 10:1-4) Nadab and Abihu (Leviticus 10:1-4) (2 nd Kings 5:1-14) Naaman the Leper (2 nd Kings 5:1-14) Could Naaman have been sincere by dipping in any other river and would he have been cleaned? Could Naaman have been sincere by dipping in any other river and would he have been cleaned? Could he be sincere and dip less than seven times and still he healed? Could he be sincere and dip less than seven times and still he healed? Naaman had the choice – obey or disobey! Naaman had the choice – obey or disobey! other examples…

Salvation is in Christ!

10 Therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. 2 nd Timothy 2:10

In no other name! Salvation is in Christ!

12 "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." Acts 4:12

In no other name! Christ is the only way! Salvation is in Christ!

2 The Gentiles shall see your righteousness, And all kings your glory. You shall be called by a new name, Which the mouth of the LORD will name. Isaiah 62:2

And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch. 26 And when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. So it was that for a whole year they assembled with the church and taught a great many people. And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch. Acts 11:26

Must wear the name of Christ. Must teach the plan of salvation that Jesus and His disciples taught. Not all Christian religions are right!

6 I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, 7 which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. Galatians 1:6-9

Must wear the name of Christ. Must teach the plan of salvation that Jesus and His disciples taught. (commandments). We must worship according to Christs will (commandments). Not all Christian religions are right!
