2. Home tab The home tab gives access to alerts and messages from adviser and employers, saved jobs and searches, and the activity log

3. Profile tab This is one of the forms you filled in when you registered. You can add and amend information.

4. CV tab Here, you can upload up to 5 CVs, but only one can be public (searchable)

5. Cover letter library tab This was added recently. You can now prepare up to 5 cover letters to go with your automated applications. Don’t forget to adapt them to suit the specific application.

6. Jobs tab You can search for jobs from several tabs. This one is dedicated to that purpose.

7. Messages tab This contains messages from employers. More importantly, it gives you a text box to make notes that will appear in your activity log. If, for example, you apply for a job outside the automated UJ system, be sure to note it using messages, so that your adviser can see that you’ve done it. This text box also appears in the CV, Cover letter library, and activity history tabs

8. Application History tab This will show only those jobs that you have applied for through the automated UJ process

9. Activity History tab This doesn’t show you any more than you can see on the home tab
