2. In the labs we learn to type. We also have many different programs to use. One of the children’s favorites is KidPhonics. It teaches us how to say words and sounds.

3. We have 4 computer labs at our school. Two are for the elementary students and two are for the middle school students. All of the computers have Internet access.

5. In Kindergarten we use the computer lab to read books online and learn about different authors.

6. The eighth grade classes have been using the computer lab to learn Microsoft Works and PowerPoint. We created poems in Works and Civil War Presentations in PowerPoint.

7. In Band we use the computers to compose our own music.

8. Our Instructional Technology Lab has a program that we use to design and build race cars.

9. In the Media Center we can use the computers to look up books or to do research.

10. In each classroom you will find a teacher’s computer and two student computers. We sometimes use these computers to complete work that was not finished in the lab. We also use them to work on projects in our class.
