1 OHLAP Oklahoma Higher Learning Access Program

2 Who May Apply? Must be an Oklahoma resident Must apply during 8 th, 9 th or 10 th grade Parents must earn $50,000 or less per year at the time of application.

3 Requirements Graduate from an Oklahoma Public High School Take the 17 Units of H.S. courses and maintain at least a 2.5 GPA in them Achieve a cumulative GPA of at least a 2.5 for all course work Attend school regularly Stay away from drugs and alcohol

4 Requirements Con’t… Don’t commit criminal or delinquent acts. Apply for other financial aid during your Senior Year

5 REQUIRED COURSES 4English Credits 3Lab Sciences 3Mathematics 3 History 2 Foreign Language Courses OR 2 Computer Courses

6 1 Additional Course from the areas previously mentioned 1Fine Arts, Speech or the Humanities Course

7 THE FINE PRINT… Student must meet normal admission requirements at the college/university they wish to attend. The Student has 3 years from graduation to start taking courses. Can only be used for undergraduate studies. The student can only receive funds for no more than 5 consecutive years after enrolling in college.
