2. THE PUPILS’ NEEDS FINAL CONFERENCE 24-25 September 2010, SOFIA By 32 Secondary Language School “St. Kliment Ohridski”

3. Within the project Attractive Vocational Guidance for Pupils an inquiry took place between the students of 6th and 7th grades in 32nd school “St. Kliment Ohridski” between 13th and 24th of October 2008. The primary idea of the research was categorizing the wishes of the children and indicating clear and exact results which could show the structural scheme of their professional orientation.

4. The inquiry consisted of four questions with free answers. The questions were: “What do I want to become as I grow up?” “What do I like in this profession” “Who am I talking to about that?” “What do I want to know about my future education and profession?” Within the research 238 quizzes were processed.

5. Analysis of results Answers to question one: “What do I want to become as I grow up?”

6. Other include 33% They are divided between professions related to management, economics and finance, construction and architecture, services and tourism, banking etc.

8. Other include 10% They are divided between independence of taking own decisions and the opportunity of nice future and stability.

11. The results show that children need more information about the specified profession and the conditions and possibilities of getting the job they want.
