7 Building capacity over the 5 years of our Reading First grant.

8 Looks like: Grade-level Walkthroughs, Observations of Word Work lessons and modeling of Read Aloud with Accountable Talk, while taking notes on graphic organizers. Plus FREE BOOKS for our Book Study of engaging picture books to plan for future quality coaching moments back at the ranch!

9 To build on our strengths so that our weaknesses would disappear, we gradually released who was doing the hard work individually. To build more collaboration and working smarter, we offered other models through site-based observations and conversations.

10 Sounds like: Sharing Collegial Conversations filled with lots of COMPLIMENTS and Questions, Connections and Comments, while Agreeing and Disagreeing during Pre- Conferences, Debriefs, Viewing Videotapes and Analyzing Literature Books. Smells and Tastes like: SNACKS!
