3 I am a fish… Like the black bear, I hibernate during the winter. I am more actif at night. I can survive out of the water for hours at a time! I am a fish but I look like a snake.

4 I am the American Eel!

5 I am an amphibian… Contrary to popular belief, you won’t get warts by touching me. My predators are snakes, owls, skunks and racoons. You may find me in the forest, tall grasses and gardens. I am very actif at night. Listen

6 I am the American toad!

7 I am a mollusc… I am normaly around 22.6 cm long. I can live up to 12+ years. You can find me on the menu of a lot of restaurant. I am one of the most common beach side shells.

8 I am the Bar Clam!

9 I am an amphibian… My name comes from the greek language and means «fire lizard». I can grow up to 1.5 meter long! I like humid and dry environments. If I lose a foot, it can re-grow!

10 I am the Blue-spotted salamander!

11 I am a fish… I can live in both saltwater and freshwater. I have black stripes down both sides of my body. I am one of the biggest fish for sport fishing. I can weigh up to a 125 pounds!

12 I am the Striped Bass!

13 I am a crustacean… I have little flippers on my back legs. I am more agressive than other species in the area, good thing I’m smaller!

14 I am the Lady crab!

15 I am a mollusc… You’ll often see my shell washed up on the beach. I have a black colored shell. I am around 7.6 cm in lenght. I am often served in restaurants with garlic and butter.

16 I am the blue mussel!

17 I am a fish… I am one of the most common type of fish people fish in rivers and lakes. During mating season, the male can change color to attract the female. Some can live in saltwater.

18 I am the Brook Trout!

19 I am a crustacean… I am a European species introduced in America by boats in the 1800’s. I’m named after the color of my shell. I’m very agressive and very competitive towards other species when it comes to food and territory.

20 I am the green crab!

21 I am an amphibian… I have a black mask on both sides of my face. I am very tolerant to frost and I hivernate during the winter. You can find me in the forest and humid environment. Listen

23 I am an echinoderm… I have two stomachs. My name comes from my physical appearance. I move very slowly. If I lose a limb, it can re-grow in less than a month!

24 I am a Sea Star!

25 I am a mollusc… I vary in color from yellow to dark brown. I’m hard to catch because I can burrow into the sand or mud very quickly I can swim. I am very long but not very wide.

26 I am a Razor Clam!

27 I am a mollusc… I eat clams and other molluscs. If you see a shell on the beach with a hole on one side, its probably one of my prey. When I die, hermit crabs often use my shell as a home.
