2. 2 Overview The Member Registration application provides active HAP Members access to all Member applications immediately after registration. As a security precaution, Address Change is unavailable until 5 business days after registration. This tutorial will explain in detail how to use the Member Registration online application to register for HAP’s Online Member Services. The diagram below provides an overview of the tutorial’s flow from page to page. The links on the diagram can be used to navigate directly to a specific page found in this tutorial. 3. 3 Member Registration The Member Registration page allows active HAP members to enter their personal information, a password, challenge question and answer, and user type to complete one part of the registration process. To view what is new with the current version of the application, click the What’s New? link. Enter your personal information, password, and challenge question and answer. To view the workflow and topics that may be of help to you throughout the process of registering, click on the Help link. To navigate to the Your Privacy at HAP page and save the entered information, click the Submit button. To delete all entered text, click the Clear All button. Select what type of user you are. If you are a parent or legal guardian of a SOLO member under the age of 18, you must fill out the below fields as well.

4. 4 Your Privacy at HAP The Your Privacy at HAP page is a notice to inform you about HAP’s Internet privacy. To complete registration and navigate to the Member Registration Confirmation page, click the Next button. To terminate the registration process, click the Cancel button. To navigate to the Privacy Statements section on the website, click the Personal Information Privacy Statement link. To navigate to the Privacy Statements section on the website, click the Internet Privacy Statement link.

Privacy Statements The Internet Privacy Statement and Personal Information Privacy Statement can be viewed before and after registering. 3 This page can be viewed by clicking on the Privacy Statement link, which is located mostly anywhere on www.hap.org. To view the Internet Privacy Statement, click the Internet Privacy Statement link. To view the Personal Information Privacy Statement, click the Personal Information Privacy Statement link.

6. 6 Member Registration Confirmation The Member Registration Confirmation page informs you that you have successfully registered and it lists the tools that are available to you that day. The Address Change application is not available until 5 business days after registration, for security reasons. To navigate to www.hap.org so you can log in with your ID Number and Password, click the Click here to log into the secure HAP Member site link.www.hap.org This message displays when a parent or legal guardian has registered for a SOLO member under the age of 18.
