6 Project Communication Enhancement Effort (PCEE) 2006 – began discussion. Resulted in developing select tools to enhance communication and working relationships Tools developed, not mandatory and not fully embraced Spring board for 2013 survey to review tools and to obtain information on overall project level decision-making

12 Communication tools identified by survey for improvement effort: 1.Rolling 3-Week Look-Ahead Schedule 2.Designated materials contact person 3.Line of communication/decision timeline form 4.Progress meeting with standardized note format and responsible parties identified 5.Request For Information (RFI) process 6.Preconstruction meeting with standardized agenda

13 Next Steps Workgroup to fully review survey results and recommend solutions for implementation this construction season DTSD Administration will attend all Regional Construction Conferences this spring Resurvey 2014 to ensure progress
