8 KtO--Year Implementation #4 Goal- Targeted Interventions Response to Instruction and Intervention (RtII) practices continue to be refined Elementary— In-place support of Title I and Learning Support, implementation of new assessments, data collection, and data review at grade level teams Middle School—In place support of Learning Support, Data Team, Check-In and Check-Out process for students at-risk High School RtII principal that collects, analyzes and distributes multiple data perspectives—tracking attendance, course grades, failure rates, Support systems –staffed Learning Center and after-school tutoring

9 KtO--Year Implementation #5 Goal Assessment Response to Instruction and Intervention (RtII) practices continue to be refined Elementary— In-place calendar of multiple measures* attached Middle School—In place strategy calendar, partial implementation of Classroom Diagnostic Tools, movement toward assessment calendar 2013-2014 High School— Use of Classroom Diagnostic Tools, management of multiple Keystone Exam windows– assessment calendar for 2013- 2014 2013-2014 Will bring multiple calendars together in comprehensive K-12 plan

10 KtO--Year Implementation Local Literacy Plan Guiding document(s) that communicate the district’s literacy design and structure. Literacy planning and writing is on-going work occurred throughout the year using: 1.Treasures Implementation Guide and written scope and sequence of skills 2.Middle School mapping of standards and PA standards and Common Core crosswalks 3.High School mapping of standards and alignment to Keystone Exams, and examination of PA standards and Common Core crosswalks, joint curriculum writing days with middle school
