11 SUMMARY ANALYSIS  112 colleges surveyed. Response rate 38%.  69% of colleges surveyed require P.E. for graduation.  Of those, 69% require 1 – 2 courses or units.  47% of physical activity courses are lab only.  65% of colleges established their graduation requirement 11 or more years ago.  9% (n = 3.8) of colleges lost their P.E. requirement in the past 5 years.  6% (n = 2.5) lost the requirement 11 or more years ago.
