The Landfill has received Radioactive Waste for disposal since 1986 from Springfields Fuels Ltd, Sellafield Ltd (Capenhurst Site) and URENCO UK Ltd at Capenhurst Site under their Respective RSA 93 Authorisation

Receipt and Disposal of Radioactive Waste upto an Average Activity of 200 Bq/g within a 10te Load
Maximum Activity Within a Consignment is 1000 Bq/g
If Strontium 90 is Present Within a Consignment then Limited to an Average Activity of 100 Bq/g within a 10te Load
Waste Receipt in Approved Bags, Drums, ISO Containers and Loose (Subject to a Prior Pre-Assessment)
Draft Permit Available for Viewing at Exhibition Stand
