Childhood in china Wu-Yi was born in November 1938 in Wuhan Hubei Province, China. Wu-Yi went to school where she had graduated from Lanzhou womens middle school in 1956 known as Lanzhou no.27 middle school. In china middle school is equivalent to high school in the U.S. She had studied in oil refinery engineering and graduated in 1962. She was known as a powerful women because she studied really hard and went for what she really wanted in life.
Career Wu-Yi had worked as a technician at the Lanzhou oil refinery.1987, she was an alternate member of the central committee of the 13 th communist party congress. Her last role was a vice premier which was to better chinas product- safety enforcement. This premier had followed to lead contamination in Chinese exports. She served her term in 2008, replaced by rising a women politician Liu Yandong. Wu was elected deputy major in Beijing. She is a notable woman because she helped many people in china. She was very brave to do what she wanted to do, to help peope out with their probems.
Wu-Yi an admirable woman I believe that Wu should be admired because of the help she gave the people and also how she worked really hard to make sure that people were comfortable with what they had.
