23 Willy was a normal kid. He lived with his grandfather and they had a great relationship. He didn’t have to worry about taking care of the farm, paying the bills, or any other grown up thing. He raced home happily from school every day with Searchlight without a care in the world. At the beginning of the story...

24 Now, he had to act like the adult in the house. He had to start worrying about taking care of grandfather. He had to grow up really fast. He figured out what was wrong, and instead of just crying and panicking about the tax money, he figured out a way to solve the problem. He was even willing to give up his college money. By the end of the book he had grown up and matured. He realized that with perseverance and determination you can make a difference. After grandfather got sick, Willy changed a lot...
