In the absence of the external field the moment are randomly oriented with respect to the one another due to the thermal fluctuations therefore substance exhibit no net magnetic moment

ABU BAKAR abubakarmehmood786@yahoo.com +92 322 7967172 When placed in magnetic field, moment tends to align along the direction of the field producing a net magnetization. when the atoms and ions are acted upon individually with mutual interaction between them the effect is called paramagnetism The moment a line up in the direction of the field which help to enhance the external field.Paramagnetic susceptibility is greater than the zero.Due to small paramagnetic susceptibility to the paramagnetic substance weakly attract the line of force

The relation was experimentally discovered by a French physicist, Pierre Curie. Statement of Curie Law: “The magnetization of a paramagnetic material is directly proportional to an applied magnetic field and inversely proportional to temperature, for large temperatures, weak magnetic fields.

ABU BAKAR abubakarmehmood786@yahoo.com +92 322 7967172 Cuirie Law for paramagnetization of paramegnatic substance is directely proportional to external megnatic field. Paramegnatic material obey curie law because as temperature increases the individual atomic magnetic moments of material are randonmized. This reduces the intensity of megnatization and suscepability.

ABU BAKAR abubakarmehmood786@yahoo.com +92 322 7967172 Limitations The formula or the relation holds only for high temperatures or weak magnetic fields Only valid for paramegantic materials The ferromagnetic substance do not obey Curie's law
