71. Restore Method  The restore point that matches the selected point in time will be placed at top of the list. It can be a full, incremental, differential or snapshot backup.  Red restore points are restore points that are created and documented in the HANA Backup Catalog. You can restore the needed files/snapshots and press rescan to make them green and selectable.

Restore Method  SAP will use Logfile Backups + most recent committed transaction in the Redo Log to roll forward after a restore point was restored.  All restore points are held within the Backup Catalog. Without it the restore possibilities are pretty limited. A full system recovery will reset the Backup Catalog and you can restore only the actual snapshot or older restore points.
