Allows users to access any form, table or report by clicking a button only.
When the database opens, buttons appear to help you choose tasks to perform.

3. How do I get started creating a switchboard?
Must create macros first.
What’s a macro?
A collection of actions that will perform specific tasks.
Open a table
Open a form, etc.
Macro automates tasks.

4. Planning a Switchboard
First decide when it would be helpful to automate tasks using a macro.
Is a switchboard needed?
Makes it easy for other people to use database
If no other users, maybe not.
Determine layout of the switchboard.
