Tips for Accommodating Associates without Computers
Secure kiosks — BTSS will reach out to you to coordinate any additional kiosk needs for your location, please respond to their request. Coordinate schedules — Work with your site’s leadership and supervisors to schedule associates without computers to complete the survey during work hours via kiosks, mobile devices, additional laptops at your location, etc. Connect with supervisors — Once associates are scheduled, ensure supervisors are aware of their direct reports’ scheduled times and encourage them to take the survey. Join meetings — Ask to join existing meetings with Operations associates (e.g., pre-shift meetings in the warehouse and driver meetings) to provide a heads-up that the survey is coming and to let everyone know that they will be scheduled to participate. Make participating enjoyable — Offer refreshments or even small giveaways to make participating a positive experience for associates. Ensure privacy and confidentiality — Designate a private area for taking the survey Be present to assist — Have an HR representative available to help if problems arise; make sure you can assist with Network IDs and are accessible near the kiosks, while also ensuring privacy

FAQs What is engagement and why is it important?
Engagement is the extent to which employees are motivated to contribute to organizational success, and are willing to apply discretionary effort to accomplishing tasks important to the achievement of organizational goals. High levels of engagement give employees the enthusiasm to please customers and support internal teammates. If the survey is really confidential, how does my input get added to my team’s results? When you enter the survey from the link in your or sign on via SyscoSpeaks.com, Perceptyx uses key demographic information to connect your answers with your team. However, your individual responses will be completely confidential. Sysco is not able to see any individual’s answers linked to their name, and results are not shared for any group with fewer than 5 responses. Why can’t I take this on paper? We want to be able to act on your feedback as soon as possible. Conducting the surveys fully online greatly reduces the turn-around time for Perceptyx to analyze results. (For hourly employees) If I take this at home on my mobile device, will I get paid for my time? Yes, the survey should be taken during your work day. Why can some associates take this on mobile devices and others cannot? Associates without Sysco computers will be able to use any device to complete the survey (i.e., mobile device, kiosk, etc.) using their Network ID. All associates need to complete the survey during their work day.
