The “disappearing” dialogue is a standard language teaching technique.
1. Elicit / write, then role play and model.
2. Students in pairs practice.
3. “disappear” some parts of the dialogue.
4. “disappear” more parts of the dialogue.
5. Rebuild the dialogue together.
