e.g. Water on the floor....
RISK: the potential danger caused by the hazard.
e.g. Slip on the water on the floor...
ASSESSMENT: Look at a situation/ place or activity and judge what the likelihood is of harm or damage occurring to property or people as a result .
e.g. Look at the textile room see a puddle of water and judge this to be a hazard that will put individuals at risk...

e.g. Look at the textile room see a puddle of water and judge this to be a hazard that will put individuals at risk... – clean up the puddle, place a Wet sign warning people and so remove the hazard/ risk of harm due to slipping
