BOG reliquefaction process based on the reverse Brayton cycle
The Study of Control Structure and Operation Condition of BOG Re-liquefaction System ◆ Motivation BOG occurs when LNG is transported by LNG carrier because of heat ingress into cargo tanks. BOG increases the pressure of cargo tanks, which means safety problems could happen. Therefore BOG must be removed from cargo tanks for safety. ◆ Main control objectives - Maintain the LBOG Separator pressure within a desired range. ◆ Control algorithm The buffer tank valves HP and LP regulate the circulation flow rate in the refrigeration loop by increasing and decreasing the buffer tank filling.
