6 Study Plan PRA students will complete 108-111 credits in total
26 credits at UQ 82-85 credits at HKBU (Include 22 specified units as accredited by UQ) *HKBU 3 credits (1 course) = UQ 2 credits (1 course)

7 Credit transfer Students are required to obtain a total of 48 units as
(subject to change) Students are required to obtain a total of 48 units as accredited by UQ. Of which, 26 units (13 courses) at UQ 14 units (7 courses) from Cat. A (Core subjects) 12 units (6 courses) from Cat. B (Major subjects) Remaining 22 units (11 courses) to be claimed at HKBU 6 units (3 courses) from Cat. A (Core subjects) 16 units (8 courses) from Cat. C (Elective subjects) PRA students will spend the first 1.5 years at HKBU, then another 1.5 years at UQ and returned to HKBU to continue their Year 4

**Things to note Both CJ and IJ students have to take HKBU’s practicum I and III during the study period in Queensland. Students have to take Honours Project in Year 4 Semester 1 instead of Semester 2. Students have to take Journalism internship either in the Spring of Year 4 or the Summer of year 4. Students have to follow the study plan and fulfill the requirements of both universities to get the degrees.
