Reading – from a multi choice Close Reading test designed for the Year Level. Year 9’s are expected to reach Level 4 Year 10’s are expected to reach Level 5 5A – Level 5 Advanced – at the top end of this level 5P – Level 5 Proficient – securely at this level 5B – Level 5 Basic – has just reached the level (not yet secure) 4A - Level 4 Advanced – at the top end of this level 4P - Level 4 Proficient – securely at this level 4B - Level 4 Basic – has just reached the level (not yet secure)

2 How to Interpret e-asTTle Writing scores
Writing – from a paper copy test (handwritten) on a writing prompt (visual picture) to describe a moment in time or scene. Marked on Ideas, Structure and Language, Organisation, Vocabulary, Sentence structure, Punctuation & Spelling. Year 9’s are expected to reach Level 4 Year 10’s are expected to reach Level 5 5A – Level 5 Advanced – at the top end of this level 5P – Level 5 Proficient – securely at this level 5B – Level 5 Basic – has just reached the level (not yet secure) 4A - Level 4 Advanced – at the top end of this level 4P - Level 4 Proficient – securely at this level 4B - Level 4 Basic – has just reached the level (not yet secure)
