4 12/1/ :47 PM We embrace disability to build a culture of inclusion and promote accessibility Inclusive hiring and supported employment Employee resource groups Inclusive design Mandatory training Global, centralized accommodation budget We are just at the beginning of our journey to understand the full impact that cultures of inclusion have on productivity and innovation. And we have a responsibility to come together, across industries, sectors and geographies, to create inclusive workspaces for all. We believe that accessibility starts with culture in the workplace, so we approach inclusion in everything we do. Inclusive hiring If you’re going to build an accessible workplace, then it’s important to hire talent with disabilities to ensure we create products that work for everyone. Supported Employment Program: Microsoft Real Estate and Facilities (RE&F) partners with vendors and employment agencies, creating job opportunities for people with intellectual/developmental disabilities at Microsoft facilities across the globe. We now have 8 locations worldwide and 200 program hires. Employee Resource Groups: To help foster diversity and inclusion, we have a rich community of 21+ Employee Resource Groups (ERG) and Employee Networks (EN). Inclusive design means we make products and services that are accessible for people with disabilities. We have mandatory training - our Standards of Business Conduct training establishes standards on which we build trust and empower our employees, partners, and vendors. And a global, centralized accommodation budget is setup to prioritize and streamline accessibility investments © Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved. 6 Autism Hiring Program 4 years ago we started a small Autism Hiring pilot that has led into a viable program for the company to find great talent. It has also started a conversation with dozens and dozens of other companies at the same time too.  Our North start at that time, as it is today, is to change the employment rate for PwD and in the case Autism and we know we can only do that with other employers and partners like yourselves.
